The village of Bata is situated in the outskirts of the Balkan Mountain, 24 km. west from town Nessebar, in the most eastern spurs of Aitos Mountain. The region is an ecologically clean and offers a stunning combination of sea and mountain climate. On the land of village Bata there are ruins of a Thracian settlement and ruins part of the fortress “Kaleto”. Till present days is preserved the church “The holy Trinity” built in 1906.Country tourism is very well developed in the region and it is priority. Especially for all fishermen near by the village are located two planted lakes with fish. In distance of 30 km is situated the remarkable monument of the Thracian architectural construction namely the ancient beehive tomb situated in the station for orchard and vine-growing in the ancient town Anhialo, northwest from the highway Bourgas- Pomorie. The old town Nessebar is only 30 km away from the village. The town is inheritor of an ancient Thracian settlement named Menabryia and it is one of the most popular resorts among foreign tourists for its ancient spirit and well preserved remains. All these monuments attract plenty of tourists
